The Cock Inn



The Cock Inn is a 17th Century village pub with large sunny beer gardens and a brand new, fully enclosed adventure playground area with tube slides, rock walls and climbing ropes. With play equipment suitable for children of all ages, you can sit back, relax and let your children play in a completely safe environment whilst enjoying your meal.

We offer great value for money, serving good home-cooked food 7 days a week, serving both restaurant food and bar snacks, with an affordable children’s menu and a good range of vegetarian meals (prepared using separate equipment). There is a Light Eater’s lunchtime menu, Monday–Friday, 2 courses for £5.95, (excluding Bank Holidays). We also cater for the bigger appetite with good sized meals and an excellent Sunday Roast, cooked in the traditional way, with a Vegetarian Roast option, booking is essential.

We have pool, darts and big screen TV, a Boules/Petang pitch, public bar, saloon bar and a separate restaurant. Group bookings, special occasions and parties are also catered for.
There is a touring caravan site, but booking is advisable.

Situated on the A268, 3 miles inland from Rye, just 100 metres from Jempson’s with ample parking and plenty of outdoor seating. Dogs are welcome if kept on a lead and we have a dog friendly area also with seating.
